Internships
Between Wednesday and Friday every week there will be practical time for you to work alongside a leader or a team in the areas listed below.
You will also have specialised training in your chosen internship every couple of months.
If you are staying in Hope City Church over the weekend you will be involved in your chosen internship on Sundays as well. For those of you travelling back to your home church for the weekends, you will have a combined internship. Part of your internship will be at Hope City Church from Wednesdays to Fridays and during the rest of the week, you will complete the other part of your internship in your home church.
Internship Options include:
Children's Ministry - Learn the art of bringing the Bible to life with fun and interaction as well as communicating the Gospel in schools across the city.
Youth - Develop your skills, ideas and wisdom in dealing with young people with hands on experience in schools and the local community.
Students - A year with the Hope City student team will be an experience you will never forget - discover how to win the campus for Christ!
Worship - For those of you with a heart to lead the church in worship and develop a great worship team, this internship option is for you.
Pastoral - Grow in your people skills and in the art of discipleship.
Events - From a breakfast meeting to a full scale national conference, learn the 'ins' and 'outs' of preparing and running an event.
Media - Lights, camera, action - and everything else involved in the creative explosion that is the media department. Can you handle it?
Community - From one-to-one assistance to community projects, choose this internship to really get involved in making a difference in the local community.
