To help with gardening, animal care, composting, work in the cafe, garden centre, work with adults with learning difficulties. Health and Safety training. Basic skills assessments.

To help with practical tasks including assisting with preparing food, cleaning and serving meals. To learn about the needs of vulnerable clients within a supportive team.

Working with Children & Young People

Sheffield Young Carers Project
Volunteers required at various times. Enthusiastic volunteers wanted either as befrienders to young people or to help in the support of groups. Activities include taking groups ice skating, playing football and art work. We ask for 6 months commitment. We support young people (8-21years) who care for someone who has a physical or mental health problem or a substance misuse problem.

Christian Aid
Help make povery history by inspiring young people to think about global justice. Christian Aid teachers deliver lessons and assemblies in primary and secondary schools. Teaching/ youth work experience essential.
